  15. feel that I am  entitled to express my

  17. well aware  that  there  are  not many
  18. Amiga-sceners  left  in   the   world.
  19. Nevertheless, I have to say that it is
  20. not many  of  these  few   who make an

  28. effort  to  keep  this  exclusive club
  29. from total extinction! By this remark,
  30. I am  referring  to  the    number  of
  31. supporting writers  for the Eurochart,
  32. which could be somewhat larger than at
  33. present.»CL7: The  same  people are writing
  34. the articles in  every  issue.  Can it
  35. really be  true  that  only  18 people
  36. have an opinion about things?»CL1: Come on,
  37. how hard can it be to  write  10 lines
  38. about   any    given    subject?   All
  39. Amiga-sceners share the responsibility
  40. of developing the scene for the better
  41. - it does not  do so by itself, and in
  42. my  humble  opinion, it is inexcusable
  43. not  to  participate  in  the debates,
  44. unless of course  one thinks it is for
  45. the best that the Amigascene dies out!

  54. was set for 31. Oct. 2001.. we are now
  55. writing  18.  Jan. 2002, and still the
  56. main  graphics  are not finished! What
  57. is  this?  Kindergarten?   Missing   a
  58. deadline  by  a  couple of days, I can
  59. understand,  but 3 months???? Shame on
  60. you! I am quite convinced  that people
  61. would  come  up  with  a  ton  of lame
  62. excuses if  anyone  cared  to ask why,
  63. regardless  of  the  fact  that  it is
  64. inexcusable. If the  missed  deadlines
  65. are  an  expression  of  some  sort of
  66. problem, like you do not know when the
  67. deadline is or  you are told too late,
  68. then you should  tell  the editors, so
  69. they have  a  fair  chance  to improve
  70. these  things.  »CL7:However, if it is  not
  71. the  expression  of    any   problems,
  72. besides  laziness  and   indifference,
  73. then  I  think  you  should   all  ask
  74. yourselves  whether  you  are actually
  75. interested in having these diskmags at
  76. all!»CL1: A group  of  people are putting a
  77. lot of work  into providing you with a
  78. media  in   which     you   have   the
  79. opportunity to exchange opinions, news
  80. and  new  ideas  in  order to keep the
  81. Amigascene  and  community  alive, and
  82. the very least anyone  could expect in
  83. return  was  for  the  deadlines to be
  84. kept!!

  87. special skills in this field. Only few
  88. people master the Amiga now a day, and
  89. there is a  need for all of you.»CL1: It is
  90. easy to follow the stream and quit the
  91. Amiga,  but  you  have  the courage to
  92. continuously  develop  and   set   new
  93. standards for  what can  and cannot be
  94. done with an  Amiga. It  is  therefore
  95. beyond my  grasp  why  you do not take
  96. advantage of this  by using the forums
  97. available to  you. In the end, it  all
  98. comes down to the fact that no one can
  99. change this but you!

  101. These  allegations  might  sound a bit
  102. harsh,  especially   coming    from  a
  103. stranger with no  actual connection to
  104. the scene. However, someone has to say
  105. it,  so  why  not I,   and   in   that
  106. perspective you can also argue that if
  107. an outsider can see some problems then
  108. something  must  definitely  be wrong!
